DeVry is a for-profit university known for its online programming.
It was founded in 1931, and started calling itself DeVry University in 2002. DeVry serves approximately 27,000 students through a number of regional campuses (approximately 55 locations across 18 states) and the web. It has partnered with the NFL and MLB, and worked closely with Democratic lobbyist Heather Podesta, a longtime Clinton ally. DeVry offers an online MBA with a concentration in Project Management. Classes for this program start every eight weeks. The program allows students to tailor their courses to their own interests within PM. The program culminates with a Capstone project. This program also features a “TechPath,” which will give students experiential and technical skills to help them lead effective projects.

East Carolina University is a public, doctoral/research university based in Greenville, North Carolina. Its the third largest in the state. ECU serves over 28,000 students, and offers many different health related science majors. ECUs graduate programs include 85 master’s degrees, 21 doctoral programs and 62 certificates. It has been commended by a number of publications. In 2012, East Carolina was classified by U.S. News & World Report as a National University in its second-tier rankings. Students will become well versed in modern economics, marketing, accounting, finance, strategy, operations management, information systems, and supply chain management. Sample courses include Quality Management, Management Science, Supply Chain Systems, Project Management and Quantitative Methods. Scheduling for this program is largely self-directed. Students can take between one and five classes each semester, and take a semester or more off at their discretion.

It currently serves more than 6,600 students and has a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio. The program prioritizes technology, analytics and data to give graduates a leg up on the less tech savvy competition. Students will build collaboration and communication skills in group projects and presentations, as well as creativity and critical thinking skills. Students can get involved in faculty research into management, analytics, innovation and marketing.
The program also features the Field Consulting Program, which pairs students with a partner company to solve real problem or explore potential business opportunities. The program offers a Project Management concentration to give graduates the skills to take a leadership role in complex projects. WSUs online MBA can be taken on a part-time or full-time schedule. Some courses may not be offered online in this program, and students can build an on campus, online or hybrid delivery method that suits their lives. Walden is a for profit private school headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Walden is part of a network of 80 universities owned or managed by Laureate Education Inc. Most of Laureates schools are outside the United States. Walden was established in 1970. It serves over 52,500 students and has an 18:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
